Production Superintendent - Process

What you will do

• Lead daily operations of the ASU, HPU, CO2 sequestration, PSA, and hydrogen liquefaction units.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, process safety, operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and mechanical integrity programs.
• Train, assess, coach, and mentor supervisors and production technicians while supporting succession planning.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, turnarounds, shutdowns, and capital or maintenance activities.
• Lead HAZOP, LOPA, MOC, PSSR, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, emergency response, and corrective-action activities.
• Develop production procedures, operating manuals, training materials, fixed-cost budgets, and continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Power Engineering certificate with a related technical diploma and relevant industrial operations leadership experience, or a Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline.
• 20+ years of relevant industry experience, including significant leadership of multi-shift operations teams in high-hazard process industries.
• Experience with greenfield or brownfield commissioning and startup activities.
• Strong knowledge of permit-to-work, mechanical integrity, RCA, HAZOP/LOPA, MOC, PSSR, and emergency response programs.
• Ability to lead direct reports, influence stakeholders, communicate effectively, and demonstrate strong business acumen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP or CMMS systems; ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial field environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with ATR, gasification, SMR, syngas processing, hydrogen production, or related technologies.
