Content Strategist (SEO)

Location: Remote in Canada; Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, or Vancouver. Candidates must permanently reside in Canada and have current Canadian work authorization.

What you will do

• Create and manage custom SEO and content strategies based on client goals, campaign performance, competitor research, and audience insights.
• Develop creative briefs and content campaigns focused on customer generation, share of SERP, content production, and LTV:CAC modeling.
• Set client goals using Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs, with approval from the Associate Director.
• Coordinate project execution in Asana, delegate tasks, track deadlines, and collaborate with writers, designers, specialists, and project managers.
• Build client relationships, communicate progress and roadblocks, and serve as the primary interface between clients and internal teams.
• Deliver bi-weekly updates, monthly and quarterly reports, and bi-annual business review presentations.

Requirements

• Proven experience implementing SEO principles and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
• Experience analyzing website traffic and SEO metrics with Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog or other crawling tools.
• Strong client-facing communication, relationship management, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Agency experience and B2B technology and/or SaaS experience are required.
• Must permanently reside in Canada and have current Canadian work authorization.
