SEO Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in most states within the United States, with some exclusions; office hubs are available in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. The position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Salary: $69,000–$80,000 annual salary, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Manage SEO and AI Search strategies across multiple client websites and digital ecosystems.
• Optimize visibility across Google, Bing, generative engines, assistants, and answer engines.
• Own client retention, identify growth opportunities, and support new business proposals.
• Build client relationships through strategic communication, meetings, and recommendations.
• Create reports and dashboards covering rankings, traffic, and AI-driven visibility.
• Collaborate with development, content, product, and SEO teams to implement structured data, content systems, and AI-readable formats.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of client SEO experience in an agency environment, including at least 1 year of client-facing work.
• Strong knowledge of keyword research, search intent, technical SEO, website architecture, competitive analysis, and content strategy.
• Familiarity with AI search systems, LLMs, generative engines, emerging AI search tools, and AI-driven content discovery.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, performance measurement, entity-based optimization, topical authority, and structured data.
• Strong communication, multitasking, deadline management, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• General knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
• Experience working with large growth SEO and AI Search clients.
