Salary: $150,000–$185,000 USD base salary annually for the SF/Silicon Valley location, plus equity, bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do

  • Lead system-level integration of sensors, compute, actuation, and vehicle systems for new autonomous vehicle platforms.
  • Drive platform integration from architecture definition and build planning through bring-up, validation, and sign-off.
  • Develop and execute structured tests covering platform functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional build and integration events with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Systems teams.
  • Provide Design-for-Manufacturing and Design-for-Test feedback to improve platform quality and scalability.
  • Create platform documentation, investigate integration issues, and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of experience in autonomous vehicles, automotive engineering, or a related industry.
  • Experience leading new platform or product integration programs from early development through validation.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive electronics and communication protocols including Ethernet and CAN.
  • Experience with Python or MATLAB, Linux-based systems, computer networking, and CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
  • Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, technical documentation, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
