Senior Technical Sales Architect (Starlink)

Location: Redmond, Washington, United States; onsite when not traveling with customers. Travel approximately 50% of the time, including customer locations and other SpaceX locations.

What you will do

• Drive Starlink integration engagements with third-party networking vendors.
• Develop joint value propositions, technical solution guides, reference architectures, and integration documentation.
• Collaborate with product engineering to onboard completed solutions into internal test environments.
• Support technical sales engagements and answer customer questions about third-party integrations.
• Partner with Marketing, Licensing, Government Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Product Engineering.
• Represent Starlink at conferences and events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or 5+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in technical sales.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise networking, packet capture or TCP dump analysis, and at least one programming or scripting language.
• Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
• To comply with ITAR regulations, applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. authorizations.

Nice to have

• Industry-recognized computer networking certifications.
• Knowledge of IETF and 3GPP standards, network monitoring, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, LACP, VLAN, DSCP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, VXLAN, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, SD-WAN, and Linux networking.
• Strong troubleshooting, presentation, customer interface, and interpersonal skills.
