Head of Financial Reporting & Analysis (f/m/d)

Location: Weinheim, Germany; based at the Freudenberg Performance Materials headquarters.

What you will do

• Lead monthly management reporting and forecasting, ensuring high data quality and transparent views of key business drivers.
• Prepare clear, decision-ready presentations and perform in-depth and ad-hoc analyses for senior management.
• Drive operative and strategic planning across the business group.
• Partner with the Board of Management, divisional leaders, corporate functions, and the Freudenberg Group on controlling topics.
• Contribute to business development projects, including post-merger integration initiatives.
• Optimize controlling processes, tools, systems, and data flows through automation and modernization.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field.
• At least 8 years of experience in group controlling or financial reporting within an international industrial environment.
• Experience leading teams functionally and disciplinarily.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and management information systems such as HFM.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required. German is an advantage.
• Strong executive communication, structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, ownership, and process-automation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in management consulting, a Big 4 firm, or controlling within a multinational manufacturing group.
