MTS for Technology & Security Engineering (AI)

What you will do

• Architect and operate security engineering for corporate systems, multi-cloud research infrastructure, and GPU training capacity.
• Design resilient end-user computing across Linux, macOS, Windows, and NVIDIA GPU workstations while protecting developer workflows.
• Secure multi-cloud research and training environments through IAM governance, network segmentation, container isolation, and scalable cloud controls.
• Implement phishing-resistant zero-trust access with Tailscale, Cloudflare One, WebAuthn, and FIDO2, replacing persistent access with just-in-time authorization.
• Build security-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, telemetry, detection, and response systems using Terraform or Pulumi and cloud-native data lakes.
• Lead compliance, vendor risk, procurement security reviews, legal contract negotiations, physical security, and data center security operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of deep engineering experience at high-valuation companies or in defense-grade environments.
• Experience building and operating security engineering functions at scale.
• Expert knowledge of public cloud architecture, IAM governance, Kubernetes, container isolation, zero-trust architecture, and security automation.
• Deep familiarity with Linux and macOS internals and securing specialized NVIDIA GPU hardware without disrupting engineering environments.
• Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, ISO 22237, ISO 22301, NIST CSF, customer audits, and enterprise security reviews.
• Ability to operate as both an executive security leader and a hands-on builder in a fast-moving research organization.

Nice to have

• Experience with virtualization, sandboxing, data isolation, post-exploitation detection, lateral movement detection, and living-off-the-land attacks.
• Experience leading vendor risk assessments, procurement security reviews, and security-related legal contract negotiations.
