Cloud Security Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Lead zero trust engineering, interoperability, and cloud security modernization across government mission environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain AWS architecture using Terraform custom modules and Ansible.
• Administer AWS infrastructure, secure cloud services and accounts, and implement advanced VPC, peering, networking, and subnet designs.
• Architect enterprise logging, monitoring, telemetry, and SIEM integrations across AWS, Okta, Istio, GitLab, and host systems.
• Support SIEM, SOAR, IMS, incident response, DevSecOps automation, vulnerability management, and supply chain security initiatives.
• Maintain A&A control evidence in eMASS and support RMF, ATO, cATO readiness, continuous monitoring, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and current TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required.
• Full-time on-site availability in San Antonio, Texas required.
• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, cloud computing, IT, or a related technical field.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification and an AWS certification.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience, including expert AWS architecture, advanced networking, Terraform, Ansible, GitLab CI, Linux, and enterprise SRE experience.
• Experience with RMF, ATO, cATO, continuous monitoring, SIEM, security automation, and implementation documentation.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSP, CISSP, CKS, or CKA.
• Azure or GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, SQL, Java, Python, Go, C++, and microservices experience.
• RMF, DISA STIG, CIS Benchmarks, SOAR/IMS, incident response, AI/ML security automation, Iron Bank, Big Bang, and IL4/IL5/IL6 experience.
