2027 Actuarial and Consulting Graduate Analyst - Belfast

Location: Hybrid role based in the Belfast office; four days per week minimum in the office initially, then two or three days per week. Candidates must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Apply actuarial concepts to calculate the value of pension and other employee benefits.
• Build financial models and perform risk analysis on future pension commitments.
• Support advice on pension strategy, day-to-day risk management and longer-term objectives.
• Help clients understand accounting, tax and legislative changes affecting pension schemes.
• Prepare analysis and communications, attend client meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
• Contribute to new-business proposals and improvements to ways of working.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification completed by 20 September 2027, with a 2.1 or higher, or expected result at that level.
• Applicants may study any subject; non-numerical degree subjects require Mathematics at A level grade B or equivalent.
• Strong mathematical skills and an interest in finance and actuarial concepts.
• Ability to analyse information carefully, explain ideas clearly and communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to organise time across client work, training and professional study.
• Must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
