2027 Actuarial and Consulting Graduate Analyst (Actuarial Consulting)

Location: Hybrid, based in the Birmingham office. Minimum four days per week in the office initially, then two or three days per week.

What you will do

• Apply actuarial concepts to calculate the value of pension and other employee benefits.
• Build financial models and perform risk analysis on future pension commitments.
• Support advice on pension strategy, risk management and long-term objectives.
• Explain accounting, tax and legislative changes affecting pension schemes.
• Prepare analysis and communications, attend client meetings and follow up agreed actions.
• Contribute to new-business proposals and improvements to ways of working.

Requirements

• Completed undergraduate degree or higher-level qualification by 20 September 2027 with a 2.1 or higher, or be on track to achieve it.
• Applicants from any degree subject are welcome.
• Non-numerical degree holders must have Mathematics at A level grade B or higher, or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong mathematical ability and an interest in financial concepts.
• Ability to analyse information, communicate clearly, collaborate and organise time across client work, training and professional study.
• Must be able to work in the UK without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
