Infrastructure Build Lead (IP and Mobile Core Networks)

Location: Homebased and regional field-based within the United Kingdom; occasional in-person gatherings and network-site deployment activities are required.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of network build programmes across Core, Transport, Fixed, and Mobile networks.
• Own the Installation and Commissioning lifecycle, including planning, staging, deployment, handover, and service introduction.
• Provide technical leadership for IP and optical network deployments by defining processes, procedures, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
• Act as the senior escalation point and Designated Operational Authority, providing third-line field technical support to Operations and Enterprise teams.
• Improve installation and commissioning processes, performance metrics, costs, delivery efficiency, and timelines.
• Lead and develop engineers, partners, and suppliers while maintaining safety, environmental, technical, and governance standards.

Requirements

• Based in or working from the United Kingdom in a homebased, regional field-based role.
• Deep understanding of core network infrastructure and deployment methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional delivery programmes.
• Extensive technical expertise in Transmission, IP, and Mobile Core rollouts and upgrades.
• Strong communication, networking, engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build effective virtual teams and apply strategic and tactical awareness in complex environments.
