Senior Software Developer - Authentication Team (Authentication)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Salary: €86,400–€129,600 annual base salary in Ireland, with potential bonus and annual refresh stock grants

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the authentication security platform with engineering and product leadership.
• Design and build resilient, high-performance authentication services, libraries, and REST APIs.
• Implement authentication standards and identity solutions including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO, and FIDO.
• Develop tools that improve code reliability and adoption of security services.
• Collaborate with support and engineering teams to resolve customer issues, fix bugs, and deliver features.
• Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and mentor engineers while working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience, including leading technical initiatives and designing complex, scalable systems.
• 7+ years of object-oriented programming experience with Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
• Deep expertise in resilient services, REST API development, microservices, IAM, and authentication or authorization solutions.
• Knowledge of identity protocols and standards including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
• Experience with Redis or relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
