What you will do
- Develop and execute the Business System strategy in alignment with site and business objectives.
- Deploy DBS principles, lean methodologies, and improvement tools across functions to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
- Partner with site and senior leadership on strategic roadmaps and policy deployment.
- Coach, mentor, and develop lean practitioners, managers, and frontline teams.
- Drive continuous improvement behaviours, accountability, structured problem solving, and cultural transformation.
- Implement and sustain Daily Management Systems while collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and other functions.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or Business.
- Experience in process improvement using lean manufacturing, project management, and business process analysis.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor and lead by example.
- Ability to influence decisions, facilitate groups, build agreement, and work effectively with diverse perspectives.
- Strong communication, collaboration, planning, prioritization, business acumen, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with the PSP process and using data to identify root causes, develop solutions, mitigate risks, and deliver results.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with the Business System, Toyota Production System, or an equivalent lean management system.
