Business Manager (Financial Management)

Location: Milton Keynes, United Kingdom; hybrid working with attendance at the office at least 12 days per month

Salary: £49,274–£73,912 per annum, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Own budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for the Business Solutions area.
• Track financial performance through P&L analysis, risk and opportunity identification, and management reporting.
• Develop and enhance financial control and governance frameworks.
• Provide financial analysis, scenario modelling and insights for investment and business planning decisions.
• Coordinate governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement across multiple teams.
• Drive cost optimisation, efficiency, continuous improvement and capacity-planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Significant experience in financial management, planning, forecasting and control within a complex business environment.
• Experience managing budgets, P&L performance, financial reporting and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including forecasting, scenario modelling and complex data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, P&L management, financial controls, reporting tools and governance frameworks.
• Fluent written and verbal English and the right to work in the United Kingdom are required.

Nice to have

• Experience leading optimisation, transformation or efficiency initiatives.
• ACCA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification, or progress toward qualification.
• Experience with financial systems, data quality improvement and performance reporting in a regulated environment.
• Additional European language capability.
