Staff Infrastructure Engineer (Datacentre)

What you will do

• Build out and maintain datacentre infrastructure and production server environments.
• Monitor production environments proactively to support security, operations, and high availability.
• Specify, assemble, test, document, and label structured fiber, copper, coaxial, and tapping cabling for 10G, 40G, and 100G trading-platform applications.
• Manage cabinet-level hardware, cable management, power options, cabinet loads, and RPP loads.
• Troubleshoot and configure network devices, including subnetting and VLANs.
• Troubleshoot server operating systems, hardware, and connectivity issues and support scheduled maintenance preparation.

Requirements

• Knowledge of datacentre-specific hardware and cabinet-level infrastructure.
• Understanding of low- and high-voltage datacentre trades and work requirements.
• Fundamental networking skills, including subnetting and VLANs.
• Experience troubleshooting server operating systems, memory, motherboards, storage, and connectivity.
• Working knowledge of cabinet power options and the ability to calculate cabinet and RPP loads.
• Experience with Google Applications, AutoCAD, Lucid, and DCIM tools such as SunBird, RF Code, or Packet Power.

Nice to have

• BICSI RCDD or DCDC certification.
• Cisco CCNA certification.
