IT Administrator / (Senior) IT Administrator

Location: Munich, Germany. Workplace: On-site.

International software company developing safety-certified and scalable platforms for software-defined vehicles, autonomous systems, and intelligent machines.

What you will do

• Operate and continuously improve cloud-based and on-premises IT infrastructure.
• Administer Linux and macOS endpoints, MDM, IAM, user accounts, permissions, SSO, MFA, email, collaboration, and file-storage services.
• Configure and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, VPNs, segmentation, access policies, servers, endpoint security, patching, encryption, and backups.
• Provide IT support for employees in the Munich office and remote support for international colleagues, including onboarding, offboarding, hardware inventory, and device lifecycle management.
• Support technical security controls, vulnerability management, incident readiness, documentation, and evidence collection for ISO 27001 and TISAX audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, HR, business teams, vendors, and service providers while improving automation, standardization, and secure adoption of AI tools.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, IT Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong Linux and/or macOS administration experience, including endpoint management, centralized patching, encryption, and security policies.
• Experience with IAM, SSO, MFA, cloud productivity platforms, servers, on-premises infrastructure, networking, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, monitoring, and logging.
• Basic scripting or automation skills with Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
• Fluent English and German at C1 level are required.
• Practical troubleshooting, independent problem-solving, clear technical documentation, and direct user-support skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JumpCloud, Google Workspace, AWS, EDR, vulnerability management, monitoring, or logging solutions.
• Experience supporting developer environments, CI/CD infrastructure, and version-control systems.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, TISAX, ISMS, security audits, or relevant IT and security certifications.
• Interest or experience in AI and LLM technologies and their secure enterprise use.
