Audit & Controls Analyst (Risk & Compliance)

What you will do

• Execute control testing through walkthroughs, sampling, and root cause analysis.
• Assess control design and operational effectiveness against defined criteria.
• Document testing procedures and findings according to internal standards.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess their impact and root causes, and report findings.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather evidence, clarify processes, and support remediation planning.
• Contribute to improved control testing methodologies, frameworks, and continuous assurance through data insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in control testing, internal audit, risk, compliance, or internal controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Risk Management.
• Experience with control testing frameworks and assessing control design and effectiveness.
• Ability to manage multiple testing activities and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and their impact on control environments.
• Experience with FCA requirements, customer outcomes, control deficiencies, root cause analysis, and remediation support.
