Global Hotel Operations Specialist

Location: Hoofddorp, the Netherlands; on-site. Rotating morning, evening, and weekend shifts, 36 hours per week. No visa sponsorship available.

Salary: €2,800–€3,360 gross per month based on 36 hours per week.

What you will do

• Manage hotel bookings, room allotments, rates, and availability across the global hotel network.
• Liaise with hotel suppliers to resolve availability conflicts, rate discrepancies, and last-minute changes.
• Monitor cut-off dates, no-show and cancellation policies, and contract terms.
• Coordinate crew accommodation logistics, including rest periods, curfews, and airport or duty proximity requirements.
• Perform quality checks on booking details and hotel data in internal systems.
• Communicate with clients, hotel partners, and internal teams while identifying recurring issues and proposing process improvements.

Requirements

• Fluent English for written and verbal communication.
• Prior experience in hotel operations, reservations, hospitality, travel, DMC, OTA, or a hotel-facing role.
• Strong communication, supplier negotiation, and issue-resolution skills.
• Availability for rotating shifts, including weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Dutch HBO-level thinking and working ability.
• Proactive, adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience with hotel PMS, channel manager, GDS, or OTA booking systems.
• Knowledge of hotel allotments, rate parity, cut-off dates, and no-show policies.
• Hospitality or hotel management background.
• Additional language skills.
