Head of Infrastructure (FinTech)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers, including capacity planning, hiring, and resource allocation.
• Establish effective 24/7 on-call rotation and incident response processes.
• Own FinOps and optimize infrastructure costs across AWS, Azure, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Define the architecture and maintain high availability for global trading infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and build robust CI/CD pipelines and platform solutions for software development teams.
• Drive network security, DDoS mitigation, infrastructure hardening, monitoring, documentation, and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, system administration, or infrastructure engineering in high-load environments.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 20+ engineers.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud and an understanding of global network routing.
• Extensive experience with Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native transformation.
• Strong background in network information security, monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, and MySQL administration.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher for stakeholder management and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech, CFD, or high-frequency trading.
• Experience managing MetaTrader MT4/MT5 server environments.
• Windows Server and PowerShell expertise, plus proficiency in a programming language.
• PostgreSQL experience and knowledge of BGP, bare-metal servers, and geo-distributed latency optimization.
