Senior Product Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own product and platform projects end to end, from ideation and prototyping through release, measurement, and iteration.
• Shape technical direction across architecture and implementation for scalable product systems.
• Build and operate reliable, maintainable, and observable services, including LLM-powered services.
• Use data, metrics, and user feedback to guide product decisions and prioritize future work.
• Improve engineering standards for testing, observability, code quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership and thoughtful code review.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience across the stack.
• Expert knowledge of modern API design and microservices architecture.
• Experience taking large, ambiguous problems from concept to completion, including greenfield builds and improvements to complex systems.
• Product mindset, pragmatism, and the ability to make informed trade-offs using user feedback and data.
• Startup, early-stage, or small-company experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 6+ months of daily, hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex, including writing skills and connecting MCP servers.

• Experience with TypeScript, Node, and React.
