Associate Director, Intelligence (Strategic Operations)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working with teams in the office around four days a week.

What you will do

• Own defined client and UK-wide workstreams within the Intelligence pillar of Strategic Operations.
• Lead discovery workshops, gather requirements, map end-to-end processes, and shape practical recommendations.
• Coordinate implementation and adoption across Planning, Activation, Analytics, Finance, Data & Technology, and product teams.
• Drive delivery across taxonomy, CCUID adoption, Campaign Governance, data quality, and reporting enablement.
• Create playbooks, process documentation, implementation guidance, status updates, and training materials.
• Manage milestones, risks, dependencies, blockers, and decisions while escalating clear options and recommendations.

Requirements

• Experience owning cross-functional projects or workstreams in media, marketing, operations, transformation, data governance, business intelligence, or technology environments.
• Experience leading discovery workshops, gathering requirements, and mapping end-to-end processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into delivery plans, process improvements, governance approaches, or technical requirements.
• Strong senior stakeholder management and experience coordinating teams without direct reporting authority.
• Experience creating playbooks, process documentation, recommendations, status updates, or training materials.
• Practical understanding of change adoption, stakeholder engagement, feedback, training, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with media campaign workflows, including briefing, planning, buying, activation, finance, or reporting.
• Exposure to taxonomy, naming conventions, unique identifiers, campaign governance, data quality, or compliance monitoring.
• Experience working with Analytics, Data & Technology, engineering, or product teams to shape and test solutions.
• Familiarity with WPP Open, Campaign Governance, Campaign Performance, Power BI, or comparable workflow and reporting platforms.
• Experience coaching junior colleagues or coordinating contributors across wider workstreams.
