Security GRC Analyst II (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, United States; position associated with Broomfield, Colorado

Salary: $130,000–$135,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure, manage, and optimize data protection tools, including DLP, encryption, cloud security controls, and Microsoft Purview or related technologies.
• Conduct data discovery and classification to identify high-risk assets and sensitive information.
• Investigate data breaches and security incidents by analyzing alerts and logs.
• Lead governance projects and recommend improvements to security controls and risk mitigation practices.
• Collaborate with IT and legal teams during forensic investigations.
• Develop data governance training and support employee guidance on handling sensitive data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience focused on data protection or governance.
• Knowledge of DLP, encryption, data protection concepts, and related security tools.
• Understanding of PCI, GDPR, HITRUST, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and NIST 800-161 frameworks.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
