Senior Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Build, optimize, and maintain a high-performance, low-latency real-time data platform.
• Implement composite reference-value algorithms and volume-weighted, time-weighted, and median-based aggregation methods.
• Ingest, normalize, synchronize, and integrate external real-time data feeds.
• Analyze high-frequency time-series data to detect anomalies, latency patterns, and data-integrity issues.
• Deploy production-ready Java code with DevOps and infrastructure teams, including backtesting and monitoring of model outputs.
• Support pricing operations through on-call troubleshooting, methodology documentation, and onboarding of new instrument listings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience with real-time or high-throughput data systems.
• Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and low-latency system design.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Interest in global capital markets and quantitative or systematic data analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time market data feeds or REST/WebSocket data-provider APIs.
• Familiarity with derivatives data and reference rates.
• AWS, SQL, NoSQL, Python, monitoring and alerting experience.
• Spring Boot or similar Java backend framework experience.
