What you will do

• Analyze and resolve highly complex defects in legacy Java and enterprise systems.
• Design, code, implement, and deliver scalable applications for wealth management, including CRM, client onboarding, KYC, AML, name checking, document management, and portal systems.
• Translate business and system requirements into stable, secure, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and influence engineering practices.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents while maintaining a stable production environment.
• Work with finance, business change engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders on planning, architecture, delivery, risks, and timelines.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of development experience with Core Java and Java EE.
• At least 3 years of experience in the financial domain and 2 years of TDD experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, JUnit, algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, Maven, Linux shell scripting, JMS/MQ, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with REST and SOAP web services, Spring core concepts, SQL query optimization, IntelliJ, Git, and SonarQube or SonarLint.
• Ability to write acceptance tests, translate functional requirements into technical solutions, and work with Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JBoss or another application server.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, JSF, JPA, EJB, complex SQL queries, React, or Angular.
