Java Backend Developer (12 Months Contract)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Optimize server-side performance and ensure data integrity and security.
• Integrate financial systems and third-party services to support reliable data flow and interoperability.
• Write maintainable code and follow best practices for code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience, including backend development.
• Strong hands-on Java skills, including Core Java, collections, JSON, JDBC, and Maven.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, JDBC templates, JPA, messaging, and JMS.
• Basic knowledge of Unix operating systems and Bash scripting.
• Very good command of English in written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving, code review, ownership, teamwork, and Agile delivery skills.
