Junior IT Business Application Engineer (E-mobility)

Location: The company operates from locations in Bolzano/Bozen, Bergamo, Bologna, Munich, and Charlotte, but no specific work location is stated for this role.

Salary: Total compensation starting from €38,000 gross per year, including a 20% variable bonus based on goal achievement.

What you will do

• Support the configuration, customization, and documentation of ERP, CRM, BI, ECM, and MES applications.
• Assist with integration interfaces and automated workflows using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and AI-assisted tools.
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing, manage test environments, document results, and escalate technical issues.
• Analyze application incidents, support root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures with senior guidance.
• Support release planning, patch management, regression testing, and application lifecycle activities.
• Create and maintain configuration guides, runbooks, and interface documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL and application integration concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one application domain: ERP, CRM, MES, BI, or ECM.
• Experience with agile or hybrid project environments, including Scrum or Kanban; familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent English and German and/or Italian language skills.
• Interest in AI-assisted development, automation tools, or low-code/no-code platforms.
