Writing System Engineer (NPDI)

What you will do

• Design portions of electrical and electronic hardware solutions, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
• Test and troubleshoot defective hardware units, electronic subassemblies, and process steps.
• Validate tolerances, form, fit, function, shock and vibration, electromagnetic interference, safety, reliability, thermal generation, and system power.
• Implement planned remediations across the hardware stack and maintain procedural records and data logs.
• Publish resolution updates, communicate findings internally, and summarize test results.
• Collaborate with electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners on product development and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience and demonstrated competence.
• Typically 0–2 years of experience in electrical design, engineering tools, electronic hardware architecture, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, hardware design, hardware architecture, computer engineering, and systems design.
• Experience or knowledge with C++, Python, MATLAB, FPGA, oscilloscopes, printed circuit boards, schematic capture, simulations, and debugging.
• Strong communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.
