AI Research Engineer (Code Generation & Model Evaluation)

hirify.global is hiring contractor research engineers for an AI-focused software engineering and model evaluation project.

What you will do

• Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across codebases using Python, Java, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Implement features and enhancements for code-generation workflows.
• Refactor and optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and review coding tasks for evaluating AI-generated code.
• Provide feedback and annotations to support model training and evaluation.
• Document technical decisions and collaborate on software quality and technical direction.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in competitive programming, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Experience with debugging, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization.
• Experience contributing to open-source or collaborative software projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and code-validation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
