TL;DR
Backend Developers (Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go) (AI/software evaluation): Designing and evaluating production-realistic backend coding tasks for a leading AI lab with an accent on bug resolution, feature implementation, refactoring, migration, and testing. Focus on building multi-file scenarios, writing reference implementations, developing test suites, and reviewing peer submissions for correctness and edge cases.
Location: Ecuador — fully remote
Compensation: $45–$80 per hour; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated project completion time.

is recruiting software engineering contributors for a project with a leading AI lab.
What you will do
- Design and implement multi-file coding tasks covering bug fixes, feature development, refactoring, migration, and testing.
- Write clear natural-language specifications and reference implementations.
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.
- Review peer-generated tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with expected outputs.
- Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
Requirements
- Advanced professional written English proficiency.
- 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.
- Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.
- Ability to debug and navigate large multi-file codebases, conduct code reviews, refactor code, and manage production migrations.
