Operator 12 Entry - Orange (Pipeline Operations)

Location: Orange, California, United States; onsite. The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, 24-hour call-outs, overtime, and possible lone work.

Salary: $34.00–$44.00 per hour, plus a discretionary annual incentive plan. Pay is commensurate with experience and skills.

What you will do

• Operate pipeline equipment, pumps, pump stations, terminals, loading racks, valves, and related facility systems.
• Monitor product quality, tank levels, batch changes, meters, alarms, and SCADA systems.
• Prepare meter tickets, bills of lading, stream sheets, operating logs, and other required records.
• Report equipment abnormalities, operating inconsistencies, product quality issues, and failures to management.
• Perform pipeline integrity activities, including inspections, right-of-way monitoring, pipeline locating, and marking when assigned.
• Complete facility housekeeping, light maintenance, safety activities, and other operational assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–1 year of experience; basic office, administrative, typing, and paperwork skills are required.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and related company systems.
• Must pass and maintain all applicable Operator Qualification requirements.
• Valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required; a TWIC card may be required depending on the work location.
• Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, holidays, weekends, emergency overtime, and 24-hour call-outs. Physical ability to climb tanks, lift equipment, walk, bend, stoop, dig, and work in extreme climatic conditions is required.

Nice to have

• Pipeline hydraulics, pipeline operations, storage tank operations, cathodic protection, piping, valves, and pressure knowledge.
• Mechanical, electrical, or electronic maintenance experience.
