Portfolio Manager I or II (Project & Power Finance)

Location: In office at 555 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California, US 90071

Salary: $44.28–$75.42 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Manage an assigned portfolio of project and power finance credits, primarily involving renewable power and solar projects.
• Underwrite revolvers, term loans, delayed-draw term loans, swaps, letters of credit, modifications, extensions, and other credit structures.
• Monitor construction schedules, funding requests, portfolio performance, risk ratings, covenant compliance, and regulatory or tax incentive changes.
• Prepare quarterly and annual reviews, underwriting memoranda, approval documents, and credit recommendations for risk partners.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, clients, Sales, Credit Risk, and cross-functional teams to structure and manage credit solutions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to joint sales pitches and ad-hoc organizational projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of progressively increasing experience in credit underwriting and portfolio management.
• Relevant Project & Power Finance industry knowledge and expertise.
• Understanding of credit management, lending operations, risk management principles, and complex financial data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in the designated Los Angeles office.
