QA Engineer (Blockchain)

Location: Asia; work-from-home arrangement, subject to the business team's work requirements

What you will do

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, and partners to ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, automated scripts, and feature test scenarios.
• Perform manual and automated testing across backend systems, APIs, databases, microservices, and distributed services.
• Identify, analyze, document, and track defects, including root-cause analysis and expected behavior documentation.
• Conduct performance, security, scalability, and big data QA testing.
• Set up automation frameworks, develop data comparison scripts, improve release processes, and increase test coverage.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of QA engineering experience with strong backend testing and automation expertise.
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing throughout the full testing lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript and automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, microservices, CI/CD, and SDLC.
• Experience with QA efficiency tools, performance testing, security testing, and AI/LLM technologies.
• Fluent English and strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with StarRocks, Kafka, and big data QA environments.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes.
