QA Engineer (QA Automation)

Location: Remote within the United States; priority for candidates based in or near Utah or within the Mountain time zone

Clerri provides a care membership platform for dental practices that helps improve patient access, reduce reliance on insurance, and build recurring revenue.

What you will do

• Test and deliver features across React and Vue frontends and NestJS/Node microservices.
• Design, build, and maintain automated end-to-end and UI tests with Cypress and Playwright.
• Design, document, and execute detailed manual test cases with reproducible results.
• Test REST and gRPC APIs and use SQL to validate data and backend behavior.
• Partner with stakeholders to triage and prioritize defects and support root-cause resolution.
• Probe edge cases, boundary conditions, and error states to verify intuitive and reliable user experiences.

Requirements

• Hands-on automated QA experience with Cypress and Playwright, plus strong manual testing skills.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and investigation.
• Experience testing APIs with Postman, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Strong debugging skills and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI tools for quality assurance.
• 4+ years of quality engineering experience, preferably in a fast-growing SaaS company, and a technical degree or equivalent experience.
