Freelance, Part-Time Community Moderator, South East Asia – 95 hours/month

Location: Fully remote; preferably based in South East Asia. Comfortable working between 07:00 and 13:00 UTC+8; working hours may be adjusted.

Salary: From €6 per hour; 95 hours per month.

What you will do

• Review member reports according to the Community Guidelines.
• Review applications from new members.
• Respond promptly to members’ questions and inquiries.
• Collaborate with the community team to resolve reported issues.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging language exchange environment.

Requirements

• Strong command of English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong intercultural communication skills.
• Familiarity with content moderation and sensitive-topic challenges.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and interest in mobile apps and new software tools.
• Own laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection.
• Ability to send an invoice each month.

Nice to have

• Previous customer support or content moderation experience.
• Strong command of additional languages.
