Location: Remote, London, GB; candidates from all time zones are considered

What you will do
- Monitor Discord communities for harmful content, enforce rules, and handle escalations.
- Engage with community members or provide behind-the-scenes moderation depending on the project.
- Apply structured moderation frameworks, escalation paths, and client-specific communication guidelines.
- Participate in community conversations with genuine subject-matter knowledge.
- Provide constructive feedback based on community activity and moderation experience.
Requirements
- Proven Discord moderation experience, including experience with personal servers, or moderation experience on other chat platforms.
- Strong ability to identify phishing, harassment, and rule violations quickly.
- Trustworthy, consistent, impartial, and discreet when handling confidential information.
- Ability to build rapport with community members while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Availability for remote work across time zones.
Nice to have
- Interest in music, gaming, or technology communities.
- Experience with moderation bots and tools such as AutoMod or custom bots.
