Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Healthcare Data)

Location: Hybrid position based at headquarters in the Greater Seattle area, United States

Base pay: $155,000–$190,000 per year

What you will do

• Build automated, scalable, flexible, and secure ETL pipelines across multiple data sources.
• Design and evolve reliable distributed software solutions using modern cloud-based architectures.
• Develop cloud services, data pipelines, APIs, and cross-platform multi-tenant systems.
• Work with internal users to understand use cases and technical requirements.
• Guide workstreams and mentor junior developers.
• Balance privacy, security, reliability, and changing product requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production-quality software in a team environment.
• Experience with Java, Python, or C# and cloud-native platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience designing and working with distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs.
• At least 2 years of experience with modern cloud-native platforms.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; work visa or permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• DevOps or infrastructure operations experience.
• Experience working as part of distributed teams.
• Prior Kubernetes experience.
