Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Chippenham, United Kingdom; full-time, site-based role.

What you will do

• Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System and ensure compliance with applicable standards and business requirements.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering on Quality Plans, Control Plans, FMEA activities, new product development, and manufacturing transfers.
• Drive yield improvement, process capability enhancement, defect reduction, error-proofing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee incoming, outgoing, product, and supplier quality activities, including customer complaints and non-conformances.
• Lead internal and external audits, corrective actions, 8D investigations, change management, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
• Track quality performance indicators, maintain documentation and compliance records, and deliver quality-related training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading quality functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards.
• Demonstrated experience leading audits, managing compliance activities, and improving operational performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead through collaboration.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
• Lead Auditor, CQI, Six Sigma, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, industrial, or advanced manufacturing environments.
