Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing QA)

Location: hirify.global Thailand, Navanakorn, Pathum Thani; on-site work in the office, quality laboratory, cleanroom, and manufacturing-floor environments.

What you will do

• Support manufacturing quality for assigned products and production areas by monitoring defects, yield loss, scrap, rework, process capability, and quality escapes.
• Maintain compliance with control plans, work instructions, specifications, traceability requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead investigations into product, process, material, and workmanship issues, including containment, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
• Drive improvements that reduce defects, variation, scrap, rework, and cost of poor quality using structured quality tools.
• Support NPI, product transfers, qualification, production ramp-up, and engineering or process changes.
• Support internal, customer, and external audits and follow corrective actions through effective closure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Applied Science, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in manufacturing quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Knowledge of 8D, root-cause analysis, CAPA, PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with manufacturing nonconformance, audits, NPI, process validation, and engineering changes.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 or comparable quality-management systems.
• Good written and spoken English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in optical, photonic, semiconductor, electronics, or other high-technology manufacturing.
• Strengths in data analysis, quality risk management, audit readiness, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
