What you will do

• Design and develop mixed-signal electrical subsystems for instrumented wafer products.
• Define electrical architectures and evaluate trade-offs involving performance, power, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Develop low-power analog and digital circuitry and integrate sensors, ADCs, microcontrollers, memory, batteries, communication interfaces, and power-management components.
• Create schematics and support PCB or substrate development through design reviews and release.
• Define system requirements, error budgets, calibration strategies, measurement specifications, and validation plans.
• Lead electrical characterization, design verification, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations while collaborating with firmware, systems, mechanical, manufacturing, and product engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and developing electronic hardware products; degree-based minimums may require up to 5 years of related experience.
• Experience with mixed-signal circuit design, including analog and digital electronics.
• Experience developing schematics and supporting PCB design and integration.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and other test equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to execute subsystem designs independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with precision sensor interfaces, analog front-end design, low-power electronics, battery-powered devices, or energy management systems.
• Familiarity with SPI, I²C, UART, RF, BLE, or optical communication interfaces.
• Experience with Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, PADS, LTspice, ADS, HyperLynx, MATLAB, or Python.
• Experience taking products through development, qualification, and production release.
• Background in semiconductor equipment, instrumentation, robotics, aerospace, medical devices, industrial automation, or embedded hardware.
