Senior Accountant (SaaS)

What you will do

• Review, analyze, and prepare monthly journal entries for the month-end close.
• Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliations, validate supporting documentation, and resolve reconciling items.
• Analyze large datasets, prepare accruals, and explain P&L and balance sheet variances.
• Coordinate with Purchase to Pay, Customer to Cash, FP&A, and other business partners to ensure accurate and timely transaction recording.
• Support process improvements, standard operating procedures, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Prepare quarter-end and year-end financial reporting schedules and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Fluent English required.
• 4–6 years of professional general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and financial statement processes.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency and the ability to analyze large datasets.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, judgment, and time-management skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree and CPA certification.
• Experience in a large global organization, SaaS, or public accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite or Cognos.
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and internal controls.
