Senior Accountant

Location: Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Lead monthly and quarterly accounting close activities for assigned operational accounting areas.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, estimates, reserves, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting, and analytics.
• Analyze transactions, balances, trends, issues, and variances in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Provide technical accounting support, including research, recommendations, policy implementation, and financial reporting support.
• Partner with Finance, Order to Cash, Supply Chain, Sales, Consolidations, Treasury, Corporate Accounting, and other stakeholders.
• Support internal controls, audits, external reporting, special projects, and process improvements using data, automation, technology, and AI-enabled tools.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial statements, accounting research, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, planning, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA, Group Reporting, Power BI, BlackLine, or AI integration experience.
• MBA, MAC/MSA, or CPA.
