Senior Communications & Email Marketing Associate (Fintech)

Location: Remote from any location; convenient office in Chicago

What you will do

• Build and execute email, SMS, and push campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Develop, launch, analyze, and iterate on A/B and multivariate tests.
• Debug HTML/CSS, customer journeys, lists, and other email execution issues.
• Monitor deliverability, reduce spam complaints, and improve open and click-through rates.
• Build dashboards to investigate anomalies and report on campaign performance.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering on marketing-related feature requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in email, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.
• Experience with multichannel marketing platforms such as Iterable, Braze, Marketo, or similar tools.
• Strong technical skills in HTML/CSS and SQL queries for relational databases.
• Advanced analytical skills and experience translating complex data into actions.
• Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, journey optimization, and project management.
• Exceptional written communication, ownership, and attention to detail; comfortable using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and campaign quality.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a remote environment.
• Experience with referral or affiliate marketing.
• Experience with Figma, Canva, Validity, or Litmus.
