What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment under the supervision of a lead technician, supervisor, or manager.
• Service chassis, refuse bodies, control systems, hydraulic and electrical systems, air brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrains, and steering systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, basic tire work, welding, and fabrication.
• Diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools and resolve multi-system issues.
• Provide safe road service when needed to return company equipment to operation.
• Complete company training programs and support fleet drivers and route operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a technician role involving gasoline and diesel equipment diagnosis and repair, or graduation from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next three months.
• Experience with or knowledge of Class 1–5 light/medium-duty and Class 7–8 heavy-duty trucks, aircraft, or ships.
• Ability to perform basic inspections with limited supervision across systems such as suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical, hydraulics, drivetrains, and diesel emissions.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASE T1–T8 certifications and a commercial driver's license are advantageous but not required.
