Parts Crib Attendant (Manufacturing)

Location: Lapeer, Michigan, United States; onsite manufacturing plant

Salary: $21.18–$23.85 per hour

hirify.global manufactures faucet and plumbing products and operates a production facility in Lapeer, Michigan.

What you will do

• Receive, stock, issue, and audit maintenance parts, tools, MRO supplies, vending-machine stock, and consumables using SAP.
• Maintain inventory records, perform cycle counts, inspect materials, and ensure proper storage and safe handling.
• Create purchase requisitions and purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with Accounts Payable.
• Coordinate vendors and outside services, including pricing, quotes, deliveries, and supplier relationships.
• Print, track, and distribute preventive maintenance activities while supporting TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain an organized parts crib, follow 5S and visual workplace standards, communicate across shifts, run local parts errands, and back up the Maintenance Coordinator.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or inventory control.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with SAP-based inventory and purchasing systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed and lift up to 25 pounds frequently or 50 pounds occasionally; ability to bend, reach, and work at varying heights.
