Mechanical Engineer (Onsite) (Mechanical Seals)

Location: Fully onsite in Pasadena, TX, USA; candidates must live within commuting distance. Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–4:30 PM.

What you will do

• Review and process application requests for mechanical seal products and custom designs.
• Prepare detailed drawing office requests and application instructions for layout and detail drawings.
• Use CAD to create proposal drawings and coordinate with global drawing offices.
• Perform engineering calculations covering heat generation, torque, thrust loads, and flow rates.
• Provide technical support for sales, service, troubleshooting, commissioning, and customer requirements.
• Process engineering changes, review fabricated parts, manage workload, and support continuous improvement and HSE practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; mechanical engineering is highly preferred.
• At least two years of experience with mechanical seals and/or rotating equipment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of personal computing, CAD, and application software; Solid Edge is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Regular onsite attendance in Pasadena, TX, is required.
