AI Automation Engineer (AI/RPA): Architecting and delivering production automation solutions that combine UiPath or Power Automate with LLMs, agentic workflows, document intelligence, and RAG, with an accent on scalable integrations, reliability, and security. Focus on designing end-to-end automation lifecycles, integrating APIs and AI services, and solving complex Tier 3 production incidents.
Location: Remote; Ukraine Private Entrepreneur status required, whether in or outside Ukraine

What you will do
- Architect and build automation solutions combining UiPath, Power Automate, or similar RPA platforms with AI and LLM capabilities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions through technical discovery with stakeholders.
- Own the full automation lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex automation incidents and production issues.
- Evaluate and integrate LLM APIs, orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and other emerging AI tools.
- Build APIs, connectors, integrations, documentation, architecture diagrams, and process workflows while collaborating with IT, data, security, and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in automation engineering, software development, or related roles, including hands-on RPA experience.
- Production experience integrating AI and LLM technologies such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Azure AI into automation workflows.
- Proficiency in Python, C#, JavaScript, or another scripting or programming language, plus REST/SOAP API integration experience.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, agentic workflow design, cloud platforms, Excel, SQL, and structured or unstructured data.
- Ability to design secure, scalable, maintainable solutions and independently manage multiple projects.
Nice to have
- Experience with vector databases, RAG architectures, or multi-agent systems.
- Familiarity with process mining and automation governance frameworks.
- UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, or AI/ML certifications.
