Solution Engineer (Price & Promotions)

Location: Flexible and remote working, with occasional travel across Europe and potentially globally. Work from abroad is supported.

What you will do

• Deliver software implementation projects across the full project lifecycle for pricing and promotion planning and management.
• Design and specify integration solutions between the hirify.global platform and customers’ existing software ecosystems.
• Configure the Price & Promotions platform for customer-specific requirements.
• Optimize forecasting and attribution model parameters and implement business logic using SQL, Go, and Python.
• Build analytical queries on large datasets to provide customers with custom insights.
• Work with product and engineering teams to scope development work and provide consulting on campaign evaluation, forecasting, optimization, and automation.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience as an Implementation Specialist, Business Consultant, or in a similar role, ideally within retail.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, structured, and customer-focused approach.
• Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or enterprise software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to gather requirements, design processes, support user testing, and work with large datasets.
• Fluent English and German required.
