Inside Sales Specialist & Technical Concierge - Japan

Location: APAC - Remote; assigned to Japan

Company

Develops silicon-based DNA synthesis technology for applications in healthcare, agriculture, industrial chemicals, and data storage.

What you will do

• Create targeted campaigns, develop opportunities, and convert qualified leads into orders.
• Collaborate with marketing, portfolio leaders, global inside sales, field sales, distributors, and dealers on focused growth plans and product promotions.
• Support customers with clonal genes, gene fragments, oligo pools, MGF products, gene pools, and IgGs using online tools and technical knowledge.
• Manage quotes, sales opportunities, CRM stages, marketing statuses, customer intelligence, and sales processes across phone, email, and occasional in-person interactions.
• Provide pre-sales and technical assistance, qualify trade show and outbound leads, and route suitable opportunities to sales executives.
• Attend customer meetings, conferences, and trade shows, present technical insights, close sales, and achieve quarterly regional targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science field.
• Minimum 3 years of inside sales or commercial sales experience in a life science company.
• Background in genetics or molecular biology.
• Experience working with Salesforce.com or another CRM.
• Strong analytical, cross-functional collaboration, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
