Accounting Intern (Financial Reporting)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; onsite role

Salary: $21 per hour

What you will do

• Compile, consolidate, reconcile, investigate, and analyze financial data.
• Draft sections of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare internal and parent-company reporting for hirify.global and Aegon.
• Use multiple financial systems and reporting tools to produce analyses.
• Identify reconciliation and posting issues and support their resolution.
• Assist with budget and forecast consolidation, internal controls, project work, and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university accounting program and not graduating before the internship ends.
• Finance or business analytics students may be considered if they have an interest in accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship or employer-of-record immigration arrangements is required.
