Accounting Analyst (Onsite: La Grange, KY)

Location: Hybrid in La Grange, Kentucky, with a minimum of three days per week in the office

Salary: $50,000–$65,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accrual adjustments, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with semi-monthly or bi-weekly payroll processing and related data collection.
• Track, categorize, analyze, and report payroll-related expenses, trends, and variances.
• Help build and improve accounting workflows, system integrations, and automation using AI tools.
• Prepare basic reports, answer ad hoc business questions, and investigate exception-based transactions.
• Document processes, identify improvements, and collaborate with Finance and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel or willingness to develop strong Excel skills quickly.
• Curiosity about AI and technology, with a willingness to learn and improve workflows.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and a professional, collaborative approach.
• Ability to work from the La Grange campus at least three days per week.
